This file was contributed for use in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Cole ============================================================================ Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I Abigale Padrick of the County of Onslow and State of North Carolina being very sick in body but thanks be to almighty God of sound & disposing mind & memory knowing it is appointed for all flesh once to die I make and ordain this my last will and testament, in the first place I recommend my soul to almighty God that gave it me, in the second place as touching my worldly estate that God has bin pleased to bless me with I give and bequeath in the following manner and form. ITEM: I give and bequeath to my son Benjamin Padrick one mair and coalt, three fetther beds & furniture, one desk including also the whole of the remainder part of my estate of hogs & all the rest included also both within doars and without of every kind and sort that is my estate to him and his heirs forever, only I reserve as much as five shillings sterling to be raised out sum of small thing of my estate by executors & that I give and bequeath to my son in law John Bender & no more of my estate to him. I now nominate, constitute & appoint my loving friend Thomas Russell and my son Benjamin Padrick to be my whole and soul executor to this my last will and testament, which I now signed sealed published and declared, be my last will and testament, this second day of October Ano Dom 1802.
