ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - David Parker, 2 Mar 1761 ----¤¤¤---- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I, David Parker in Onslow County in the province of North Carolina, being sickly in body, of perfect of mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality of the body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will and testament. ITEM: I lend to my dearly beloved wife Elizabeth Parker the plantation whereon now I live, during her widowhood, and one horse for the use of the plantation and I also give her one riding horse, I also give to her one feather bed and furniture, I also give to her two cows and calves, them and their increase, I also give to her one peuter dish and one peuter basin. ITEM: I also give to my well beloved son Francis Parker the plantation whereon I now live, to him and his heirs forever. I also give to him one feather bed, I also give to him one young heifer, she and her increase forever. I also give to him two sows and pigs, also one rifle gun and after all my just debts is paid, all cattle, horses, hogs and sheep and all the rest of my stock and household goods, that is not mentioned in my will to be equally divided amongst the rest of my children. I also nominate and appoint my well beloved wife and Jacob Humphery to be my executrix and executor of this my last will and testament. ratifying this now there to be my last will and testament.
