This file was contributed for use in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Cole ============================================================================ Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I Anne Parrey, of the State of North Carolina and County of Onslow, being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God, do this 24th day of October in the year of our Lord 1822 make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following; that is to say, first my will and desire is that my body be buried in a Christian like manner, the expense of which to be paid out of my estate by my executors. 2nd: I give my feather bed and furniture to my beloved friend Susanna Brown, her heirs and assigns forever. 3rdly: I give and bequeath to my beloved friend Margaret Brown all the money that I got for my land and all the rents back that is now due to me in the hands of Adonijak Parrey which money I give to her, her heirs and assigns forever. 4thly: I give to my brother and two sisters, if they are now living, fifty cents each to them, their heirs and assigns forever. 5thly: I nominate and appoint my friend James Brown my executor of this my last will and testament, in witness whereof I the said Ann Parry have set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
