This file was contributed for use in the North Carolina USGenWeb Archives by: Beverly Cole ============================================================================ Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina State of North Carolina: Onslow County: In the name of God Amen: I, Benjamin Perry, being much afflicted but of sound and perfect mind and memory and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ordain this my last will in manner and form following, (viz.); I lend unto my stepfather Daniel Stanley my land and plantation whereon I now live during his natural life, and after his death, to my brother John Stanley, to him and his heirs forever. I give unto my sister Susannah Stanley one mare, bridle and saddle, at her arriving at age or marry, to her & her heirs forever. I give unto my sister Nancy Stanley one three-year-old heifer, one two-year- old heifer, one sow & ten pigs, to her and her heirs forever. I do nominate and appoint my beloved (step-) father, Daniel Stanley, executor to this my last will and testament, this the 12th day of May in year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve, signed in the presence of us the day and date above written.
