ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - Hannah Pollock, 1 Jul 1807 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina State of North Carolina: Onslow County: In the name of God, Amen: I Hannah Pollock of state and county aforesaid, being of sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be God do this first day of July in the year of Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven, make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say: FIRST: I give and bequeath unto Thomas Yates one half of all the crop that is or will be made this year and one bed and bed stead and furniture which is called mine and one chest and one table ten head of hogs and my colt which now sucks my grey mare, and one big pot, hooks and trammel, and two bar plows and two fluke plows and one pare of fire dogs and one pair of iron wedges two weeding hoes and one grubbing hoe one grindstone to him and his heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth one big wheel and one linnin wheel one hackle to her and her heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy on bed and bed stead and furniture one big wheel and one linnin wheel to her and her heirs forever. ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah ten pounds to be paid by my executors out of my undivised estate to her and her heirs forever. I then wish my two creaturs mare and horse to be sold to pay my debts and it is my wish that all my undivised estate should be sold and the monies arising therefrom to be equally divided between my daughter Nancy and my daughter Sarah but if the two creturs should not fetch me over and enough to pay my debts, I then with that the debts should be paid out of themonies arising from the above undivised property which was to be divided between the girls, VIZ: Nancy and Sarah except I wish that my son John and my son Lewis and my son William should have five shillings sterling a piece to come out of the property which was ordered to be sold & it is also my wish that my two daughters Elizabeth Newsom and Ritty Pollock should also be given five shillings sterling out of the property which is ordered to be sold and lastly I make and ordain my worthy friend Richard Simpson & Richard King my executor to this my last will and testament.
