I, David Scott Sr., being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and memory 
do make and publish this my last will and testament in the form following, 
(viz.):
FIRST: it is my will and desire first that my just debts be paid.  Secondly, I 
give and bequeath to my well beloved wife all my property during her natural 
life and at her death to be equally divided between my three children, 
Benjamin Scott & David Scott Jr., & Luiza Scott.  Thirdly and last, I leave 
and appoint my son Benjamin Scott my executor to this my last will and 
testament, as witness I hereunto set my hand and seal this the 24th day of 
October A.D. 1861.
