ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - William Smith, 6 Feb 1811 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I, William Smith of the County of Onslow and State of North Carolina, being of sound mind and perfect memory and being willing to dispose of my worldly goods as the Lord in his mercy have lent me in manner and form as follows, that is to say, First I lend unto my loving wife Jane Smith the plantation and two hundred and thirty acres of land where I now live during her widowhood also one Negro woman named Mall and two children called Naner & Barbary also I lend unto my wife one gray mare also all my household goods and my stock of cattle & hogs & bees during her widowhood and fater her death or day of marriage of my wire, I give unto my three sons Benjamine, William (Jr) and John Smith, two hundred and thirty acres of land where I now live to them and theirs heirs forever and also I give unto moy three sons above named one Negro woman called Mall and her two children and all the increase of said Negro to be equally to be divided between my three sons to them and their heirs forever, now my will and desire is what of my cattle hogs bees and household furniture shall remain at my wife death or day of marriage to be equally divided among my three sons and also two hundred acres of land more or less lying on the head of Mone Creek to be sold to pay my debts and paying my just debts to be equally divided between my three sons, I constitute and ordain Benjamine, Bryant and Amos Wilson whole and sole executors of this my last will and testament.
