ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - Elizabeth Thomas, 13 Dec 1819 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina State of North Carolina: Onslow County: In the name of God, Amen, I Elizabeth Thomas of the county and state aforesaid being in ill health but of sound mind and memory, blessed be God, but calling to mind the mortality of my body and knowing it is appointed for all men and women once to die, do this 13th day of December 1819, make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say: FIRST my will and desire is that all my land and my two head of horses and my household and kitchen furniture to be sold at six months credit and the money arising from said sale to be equally divided between Elizabeth Henderson, Lewis T. Oliver, and Nancy Custice. ITEM: My will and desire further is that my Negro woman Phebe and her child Ede be equally divided between Hellen Fonville and Mary and Catharine Oliver. ITEM: I give unto Marquis Thomas two Negroes by the names of Silas and Clarrissa. Revoking all other wills be me made I do ordain constitute and appoint Lewis T. Oliver executor to this my last will and testament in witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
