ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - William Waldron, 16 Sep 1793 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen, I William Waldron of the State of North Carolina, being weak in body but of sound and perfect memory, calling to mind the mortality of my body do make and ordain this my last will and testament, first I commend my soul to God that gave it and my body to be decently at the descretion of my executors that I shall hereafter mention and it is my will and desire that all my just debts to be paid. I lend to my beloved wife Rebakah Waldron the land and plantation I now live on with all my plantation tools and the old mare and part of the stock which is two sows and pigs and the choice of four cows and calves and sheep all my household furniture during her life or widowhood to raise support and school my children. ITEM: I give unto my beloved wife one mare bridle and saddle. ITEM: I leave all my lands to be sold and equally divided between my two sons Resolver Waldron and William Waldron Jr., at the death or marriage of my beloved wife Rebecca Waldron, tools and stocks to remain on the plantation till a division. ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Rachel Waldron one bed and furniture. ITEM: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Charlotte Waldron one bed and furniture. ITEM: My will and desire is that my killable hogs should be made fat out of the crop now standing and the killable cattle to be put to the same use for the support of my family and to pay my just debts, & likewise my two young filleys to be sold. Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved wife Rebecca Waldron Executrix and William Shaw executor in trust of my last will and testament in witness hereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 16th day of September 1793.
