ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - Thomas Wise, 30 Mar 1807 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I Thomas Wise of the State of North Carolina and County of Onslow, being weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory, thanks to Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first, I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Mary Wise the use and possession of all my lands with all my moveable property during her natural life, I give and devise unto my son Matthew Wise, to him and his heirs forever, one quarter part of my land including the house where henow lives extending from the river to a certain road leading from town, to Starkey's Hammock to be layed of joining Joney's line. I give and bequeath unto my son Selby H. Wise one quarter part of my land to him and his heirs forever, to be laid of joining John Faires lines up to my head line including my dwelling house and privileges thereunto belonging. I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Wise (Jr.) fifty dollars to be paid him by Matthew and Selby Wise aforesaid. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Hannon Bell one shilling to her and her heirs. I give and bequeat unto my daughter Sarah Tanner one shilling to her and her and her heirs. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Wise, at the death of my wife, all the remaining part of my moveable property to her and her heirs forever. And I hereby appoint my beloved wife and my son Selby Wise executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all foremer wills by me made inwitness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 30th day of March 1807.
