ONSLOW COUNTY, NC - WILL BOOK A - Edward Young, Jr., 26 Dec 1816 ----¤¤¤---- Record of Wills, Book A 1800-1825 Onslow County, North Carolina In the name of God, Amen: I Edward Young (Jr.) of the state of North Carolina & County of Onslow now being dangerously wounded knowing that I must die do with to make some mention as respect my property as being in my proper senses make and ordain this my last will and testament to-wit: my will is that my neffew Edward Cox son of Ely Cox to have my Negroes namely Harriot, Amos & Antony, my will is that my brother John Young have Chels their two children my will is that Eldy be give to my neise Polly Ward daughter Goane Ward Miley child & Wiley be left to Hannah Giles, John Giles be apponted my executor to have my horse bridle and sadle my debts be paid this 26th of Decmeber 1816. This may be understood that as respects my man Daniel my will is that Samuel Davis should have hime & he to me own by him & used particular well for meretorous services.
