Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions, May Term 1810

Whereas Elizabeth Brooks, widow and relect of Thomas Brooks, dec. exhibited 
here in court a paper writing, and alledged the same contains the last Will 
and Testament of the said Thomas Brooks dec. so far as it concerns his 
personal property and prays that the same may be proven in solemn form and 
whereas it appears to this Court that Benjamin Howell and Elizabeth his wife, 
heirs and Legatees of said Thomas Brooks, dec. are not inhabitants of this 
state. It is therefore ordered that publication be made in the Star for three 
weeks successively, that they appear at the next session of said court and be 
present at the probate of said paper writing and contest the same if they 
think proper.
