JOHN GORDON, surviving partner of MCCALL, ELLIOT, and Co.

            Vs.

WILLIAM COTTERELL and SAMUEL BLACK

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, WILLIAM 
COTTERELL, is not an inhabitants of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three weeks in the Raleigh Minerva that 
unless the Defendant, WILLIAM COTTERELL, do file his answer to the Bill of 
Complaint within the first three days of next term, the same will be taken pro 
confesso against them and decreed accordingly.
