WILLIAM LANIER

    Vs.

SPENCER HINTON & CO.

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant, SPENCER 
HINTON, is not an inhabitant of this State: It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three weeks in the Raleigh Minerva that 
unless the said Defendants appear at our next Court to be held for the County 
of Orange in the court House at Hillsboro' on the 3rd Monday in September, 
then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition, judgment will be 
taken pro confesso against him and decreed accordingly.
