This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Harriet A Odom HODOM@prodigy.net ==================================================================== DEED William Anderson to George CARRINGTON This indenture made this 13 day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two between William ANDERSON of Orange county and State of North Carolina of the one part and George Carringtonof the said county and state of the other part witnesseth that the said William ANDERSON for and in consideration of the sum of six pounds five shillings to him in hand paid by the said George CARRINGTON one certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Orange on the waters of the Eno adjoining the land of the above mentioned CARRINGTON to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all houses orchards woods and underwoods and all other appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging to the said land and premises unto the said George CARRINGTON his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said George CARRINGTON and his heirs forever free and clear of and fromm all former incumbrances whatsoever and lastly the said William ANDERSON doth for himself and his heirs promise and agree to and with the said George CARRINGTON that he will the right title and property of the said land and premises with the appurtenances warrant and defend to the said George CARRINGTON his heirs and assigns forever.
