Baldrige To Debow

This Indenture made this 10th of August in the year of Our Loard One 
thousand seven hundred & Eighty one between Robert Baldrige of the one 
part & John Debow of the other part both of the State of North Carolina 
Witnesseth that the Said Robert Baldrige for and in consideration of the
sum of twelve Pounds [?] money to him in hand paid & receipt whereof he 
doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained sold & confirmed from 
himself & his heirs unto the sd John Debow his heirs & assigns forever a 
certain parcel of land lying on the East end of the said Debow tract of 
land in the County of Orange on the waters of Haw Creek beginning at a 
Post Oak on the Great Road running down the road One chain to three P.O. 
running North 17 Chains to a P.O. thence No 35 1/2 to a Persimmon then
North 64E to a [H] then N 17 to a WO then W4 to a WO then S8 to a B.O. 
then W12 to a Stake then South 33 to the first Station Containing twenty 
two & a half & also the right title Interest claim of the said Baldrige & 
his heirs in & unto the said land & premises to have & to hold the said 
tract of land above mentioned unto the said John Debow his heirs & assigns 
forever by these presents, that the said Robert Baldrige & his heirs the 
said tract of land & premises against him the said Robert Baldrige his
heirs Exrs Admrs & assigns & all maner of person claiming under him to the 
said John Debow his heirs Exrs Admrs & assigns shall & will warrant & 
forever defend by these presents In Witness the said Robert Baldrige hath 
set his hand & affixed his Seal the day & date above mentioned
