Reding This Indenture made this fifth day of July in the year of Our Lord Christ one Thousand seven hundred and Ninety five Between Abemilick Barbee and Abraham Whitacer both of Orange County and State of North Carolina of the one part and Thomas Reding of Orange County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Abemilick =Barbee and Abraham Whitaker for and in Consideration of the sum of Ninety pounds to them in hand paid the Receipt whereof they the said Abemilick Barbee and Abraham Whitiker doth hereby acknowledge that we have granted bargained and sold alienated and Confirmed and By these presents doth Grant bargain and sell alien and Confirm unto the said Thomas Reding his heirs and assigns forever all that M[?] and that peace or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the County of Orange and State of North Carolina and is bounded as follows by Abraham Whitekers land on the south and by Jacob Allens on the East and by the River Eno on the North Begining on the bank of Eno at a Stake Runing East two hundred and ten pole to a Read Oak on the Creek Abraham Whitiker lives on then down the various Courses of the Creek to Allens line then West a long allens line One hundred and ten pole to a White Oak then North one hundred and twelve pole to a Stake then west Eight Pole to a Stake on the bank of Eno River then up the Various Courses of the River to the first station Containing by Estimation Eighty five acres by the same More or less also all trees woods and Under woods tithes Commons Pastures of Pasture Profits Commodities advant =ages herideterments ways waters and appurtenances whatsoever to the said M[?] and Lands above Mentioned belonging or any wise appertaining and also also the Remainder and Remainders Reversion and Reversions Rents and Services of the said Premises of every Part there of and all the Estate Right Title Interest Claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Abemilick Barbee and Abraham =Whitiker of in and to the said M[?] and Premises and every part thereof To have and to hold the said M[?] and tenements and all and singular the Premises above mentioned and every part and parcel there of with [x] appurtenances there unto belonging unto the said Thomas Reding his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Thomas Reding his heirs and assigns for ever and the said Abemilick Barbee and Abraham =Whiteker for themselves and their heirs M[?] or tenement and premises and every part there of against them and their heirs and against all and every person or persons whatsoever to the said Thomas Reding his heirs and [x] assigns shall and will for ever Warrant and defend by these presents In Witness whereof we the said Abemilick Barbee and Abraham Whitaker have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals the day and year first above written Signed Sealed and delivered Abemilick Barbee (seal) In presence of us Test Abraham Whitiker (seal) Mark Patterson Bremillion Holloway Orange County August Term 1795.
