This indenture made this 9th day of August AD 1827 by ___ HUGH CAIN, AN CAIN, & JOHN CAIN, Andrew Leatham, Charles G. Simonds, Catherine Leatham, & Villary Simonds all of York District South Carolina of the first part and Duncan Cameron of Orange County North Carolina of the second part. Witnefseth that the said parties of the first part for & in consideration of the sum of Five hundred & twenty three dollars to them paid by the said Duncan the receipt whereof is hereby fully acknowledged have given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened & Confirmed, and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell alien & confirm unto him the said Duncan Cameron, his heirs & afsigns forever, all the right, title, interest & estate which they (the parties of the first part hereto) have or may have, into & of the Real Estate of which HUGH CAIN the elder, (Uncle of the parties of the first part hereto) Decd used & possessed or entitled to which said Real Estate consists of ___ several tracts of land, situate lying & being in the County of Orange aforesaid on both sides of ____ River adjoining & bounded by the lands of the said Duncan Cameron & _______ D. B_________ and containing on whole Six hundred & eighty eight acres more or lefs being the land owned & occupied by the said HUGH CAIN at the time of his death. To have and to hold the land hereby bargained, sold & con________ by the parties of the first part hereto, being their undivided sixth portion or share of all the lands aforesaid belong to the said HUGH CAIN the elder at the time of his death to the said Duncan Cameron Cameron, the party of the second part hereto his heirs & assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part hereto for themselves, their heirs, do by these presents Covenant, promise and agree to & with the party of the second part hereto, his heirs and assigns that _______ of an absolute estate in fee simple in and of fifth parts of the sixth part of all the lands aforesaid of which the said HUGH CAIN, elder decd. ________ & possessed or entitled to ; that they have _______ ________ and authority to sell & convey the same by Deed in fee simple Absolutely & and that they will forever warrant & defend the lands & premises hereby bargained, sold, conveyed to him the said Duncan Cameron, his heirs & assigns against the claims of all persons whatsoever. This indenture made this 26th November A.D. 1831 by & between JOHN CAIN, JAMES CAIN, WILLIAM CAIN, ALLEN CAIN, David Irvin and Fanny his wife, Lewis Cason & Margaret his wife of Wilkinson County in the state of Mifsifsippi, William Hall, Samuel Hall, Sarah Hall & Nancy Hall of Hancock county in the state of Georgia which said JAMES CAIN, JOHN CAIN, WILLIAM CAIN, ALLEN CAIN, FANNY Irvin & MARGARET Cason are the children & heirs at law of WILLIAM CAIN the elder, all of the county and state first above mentioned, deceased. and which said William Hall, Samuel Hall, Sarah Hall & Nancy Hall are the heirs at law of NANCY Hall dec., daughter of the said WILLIAM the elder, dec. of the one part and Duncan Cameron of Orange County state of North Carolina of the other part. Witnesfth that the said parties of the one or first part hereto for & in consideration of the sum of Eight hundred & fifty dollars to them paid by the other or second part hereto the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have given, granted, bargained, sold, aliened, & confirmed and by these presents do give, grant, bargain, sell, alien & confirm unto the party of the second part one certain tract of land situate lying & being on Little River in Orange county aforesaid and bounded as follows. Beginning at a stake on the river, corner of land Cameron running with his line South 117deg East 28 chains & 50 links to a Spanish Oak, thence South 112deg. West 2 chain & 50 links to a Stake. Thence South 87deg. East 19 chains & 50 links to a pine, thence South 18deg. East 22 chains & 50 links to a stake corner of lot no. 6. Thence with lines of said Lot no. 72deg. West 73 chains to the River, thence up the meander of the same to the first station. Containing ninety five acres and 3/4 acre to the same more or lefs: being that part of the lands of which HUGH CAIN late of Orange county died seized & possessed, allotted by the commifsioners appointed to divide the Real Estate of the said HUGH CAIN deceased to the heirs of the aforesaid WILLIAM CAIN the elder, dec. one of the brothers of the said HUGH CAIN dec. and is _______ marked in the plan & survey the lands of the said HUGH CAIN dec. as lot no. 5 to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all of the rights & appurten thereunto belonging to the said party of the second part hereto & his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part hereto for the themselves and their heirs & do by these presents covenant, promise and agree to & with the party of the second part hereto, his heirs and assigns as follows that they are the heirs at law of WILLIAM CAIN the elder of Wilkinson county Mispispippi dec. that they are seized of an absolute Estate in fee simple in & of the tract of parcel of land herein before mentioned & hereby conveyed that they have full and ample power & authority to sell & convey the same in fee simple that their is no incumberance or charge on the same, and that will forever warrant & defend the same and every part thereof to this party of the second part hereto his heirs & afsigns against the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever.
