James Carrington to Abraham Parker

This Indenture made this [date is blank] day of March in the year of our Lord one
thou-
sand seven Hundred and Eight Nine Between James Carrington of the County of Orange
and State of North Carolina of the one part & Abraham Parker of the County & State
aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said James Carrington for and in
consid
-eration of the sum of one hundred Pounds [?] to him in hand payed by the said
Abraham Parker on or before the Sealing & Delivering of these presents the Receipt
whereof he the said James Carrington doth hereby Acknowledge hath granted Bargined
Sold & delivered Released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant
Bargain Sell alien and Confirm unto him the said Abraham Parker
his Heirs and Assigns forever all the Tract of Land and Premises
and all the appurtenances, thereunto belonging or in any wise apper-
-taining Situate lying and being in the County of Orange on the Waters
of Flat River Adjoining John Carrington and Anthony Cozart Begining
at a Red Oak on John Carringtons [?] line runing thence
South along said line fifty Seven chains to a red Oak thence East
thirty seven Chains to a Walnut on Cozorts line thence South fifty seven Chains to
a
pine then West thirty Seven Chains and one half to the first Station Containing
by Estimation two hundred & thirteen acres be the same more or less and the Rev
-ertion & Revertions Remainder & Remainders Rents & Services whatsoever to Have
& To Hold the said Land and premises and Every part and parcel thereof and all
Singular the priveledges thereunto Belonging or in any wise apertaining unto
unto the said Abraham parker his heirs and assigns to the only proper use &
Behoof of him the said Abraham parker his heirs and assigns forver
and he the said James Carrington for himself his heirs and assigns doth Coven-
-ant & agree to & with the said Abraham Parker his heirs & assigns for Ever
by these presants that the said James Carrington for himself & his heirs the said
Tract of Land & premises hereby Bargined & Sold and Every part & parcel thereof
against him the said James Carrington his heirs & assigns shall & will warrant
and defend by the said presants Witness whereof the said James Carrington
hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first above written
