All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jacqueline Wilkerson jgwilkerson@embarqmail.com September 12, 2009, 9:54 pm Written: August 2, 1824 Recorded: December 11, 1827 Orange County, North Carolina Deeds, Book 23, Page 148, 149 James, Mary, William & Tempy Dollar to Joseph White This Indenture made this 2nd day of August A.D. 1824 Between James Dollar & Molly his wife, William Cole & Nancy Cole his wife William Hitchcock & Elizabeth Hitchcock his wife, William Dollar & Tempy Dollar his wife Absolom Hunt & Patsy Hunt his wife, Milly White & William White of the one part & Joseph White of the other part Witnesseth - Whereas Joseph White late of Orange County Died on or about the 10th of April A.D. 1824 Intestate leaving eight Children his heirs at Law ,To wit, Six Daughters & Two sons namely Molly intermarried with James Dollar, Nancy intermarried with William Cole, Elizabeth intermarried with William Hitchcock, Tempy intermarried with William Dollar, Patsey intermarried with Absolom Hunt, Milly White, William White, & Joseph White - And whereas the said Joseph White Died seized & possessed of a Tract of Land Contai =ning Three Hundred Acres more or less lying & being on the Waters of New Hope in the County of Orange & State of North Carolina & having settled his son Joseph White on the said Tract of Land & always ex =pressing himself he intended the said Tract for the said Joseph White his Son.
