John Geer to Tabitha Geer

This Indenture made the 12th day of August in the year of Christ Seventeen 
hundred & Sixty nine by & between John Geer & his Daughter Tabitha Geer both 
of the County of Orange & Province of North Carolina  This Indenture 
witnesseth that I John Geer out of the natural Love & affection which I bear 
towards my Daughter Tabitha Geer Give unto her a certain Negro Girl named 
Judea one Feather Bed & furniture to her & her heirs & assigns forever To Have 
& to hold the Said Negro Bed & furniture from all person or persons whatsoever 
laying Title or Claim thereunto - Whereunto I interchangibly Set my hand & 
affix my Seal in the Day & date above written.
