Glenn This Indenture made and entered into this 26th day of December A.D. 1843 by and between Martin Glenn of the one part and William Glenn, Jr. of the other part both of the County of Orange and State of North Carolina. Witnesseth that the said Martin Glenn for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred Dollars to him in hand paid by the said Wm. Glenn, Jr. the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said Martin Glenn hath bargained & sold to the said Wm. Glenn, his heirs and assigns forever the following tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Orange on Elebe's Creek adjoining the lands of the said Martin Glenn, Duke Glenn, Baldy Nichols & others and known as the tract of land whereon Wm. Glenn, Sr. now lives containing by estimation one hundred acres be the same more or less the same to have and to hold free from any claim of any person whomever after the death of William Glenn, Sr. and Susanna Glenn his wife and not until their death and after which the said Martin Glenn forever warrants and defends to him the said Wm. Glenn, Jr. his heirs and assigns the above named tract of land with all appurtenance in any way belonging.
