Glenn This Indenture made and entered into this 26th day of December AD 1843 by and between Martin Glenn of the one part and William Glenn, jr. of the other part both of County of Orange and State of North Carolina. Witnesseth that the said Martin Glenn for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars to him in hand paid by the said Wm Glenn the receipt of whereof is hereby acknowledged hat bargained and sold to the said Wm. Glenn, Jr. his heirs and assigns forever the following tract or parcel of land lying the County of Orange on Elebee's Creek adjoining the lands of Duncan Glenn, John Hardcastle, William Glenn, Sr. and others containing by estimation twenty five acres be the same more or less to him the said Wm. Glenn, Jr. with all appurtenances in anywise belonging and fore the lawful right and title of which the said Martin Glenn forever bonds himself his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said Martin Glenn hath hereunto set his hand & seal the day and date first written.
