Witnesseth that he the said William Brown for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred pounds current money of the State aforesaid to him in hand paid by him the said Charles Glenn the receipt whereof he the said William Brown doth hereby acknowledge and confess himself therewith fully satisfied contented and paid and doth hereby acquit and discharge him the said Charles Glen and his heirs forever th the said William Brown hath granted bargained & sold unto the said Charles Glenn a certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in Orange County and State aforesaid bounded as followethe towit begining at a stake William Lingo's corner in the Person County line thence South by said Lingo's line forty seven chains to John Mizes line cornering at a stake thence west by Mizes line forty two & third chains to a corner stake thence North by Samuel Cary & William Dukes lines forty seven chains to a corner black oak in the Person County line thence East by the Person County line forty two and two third chains to the begining Containing two hundred Acres of Land to be the same more or less To hand and to hold all the above mentioned Land with all the improvements therein thereon or thereunto belinging or in anywise appertaining to the said land and premises and he the said William Brown doth hererby warrant and defend the said tract of Land from the lawful claim of hemself his heirs and assigns and from the legal claim of all others to him the said C. Glen his heirs and assigns forever. In Testimony whereof he the said William Brown hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his Seal the day and year first above written.
