Witnesseth that Whereas the said Tyre Glenn is justly indebted to Bennehan & Tharpe by note bearing date herewith for Fifty two dollars & Ten Cents & to Bennehan & Cameron the surviving partners of John Green & Co. by note for Eleven dollars & fifteen Cents bearing date herewith & in the further Sum of Twenty One dollars & forty eight Cents to Bennehan & Tharpe with Interest from the 1st November last as Security for my son Ramsome and being minded & desireous honestly to secure the Several Debts & the Interest thereon by conveying to the said Samuel Yarbough the property herein after described and for the intent & purposes herein after expressed. Now this Indenture further Witnesseth that the said Tyre Glenn in consideration of his being so indebted to the several Persons as above mentioned & the Several Sums & Interest as above expressed & of this being minded & desireaus to secure the payment thereof & of Sum of Fifty Cents to him in hand paid good & lawful money of the United States by the said Yarbough before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby fully acknowledged he the said Glenn hath given granted, bargained Sold, alined & confirmed & by these presents doth give, grant, bargain, sell alein & confirm unto the said Yarbough his heirs & assigns forever all that Tract or parcel of land whereon I now reside Situate lying & being in the County & State aforesaid adjoining the lands of William Glenn, Solomon Wood and John Tilly containing Eighty Acres be the same more or less with all his right & title to the said Tract or parcel of land unto the said Yarbough his heirs & assigns forever & the said Glenn for himself his heirs & doth Covenant & agree towith the said Yarbough his heirs & that he is seized & possessed of a good Sure Estate of Inheritance hereon before described & hereby Conveyed to him that he hath sufficient & lawful power & Authority to convey the same to him against the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever Provided nevertheless that if the said Glenn do & shall will & truly pay to the Sundry persons their heirs & the aforesaid Several Sums & Interest that may occurr thereon as above named on or before the first of July next then this Indenture shall cease & become void, But if the said Glenn his heirs & to pay the said Several Sums & Interest to the said several named persons on or before the day last mentioned, then it & advertisement for the space of Ten days to sell at Public Sale for ready Money the Tract of land herein named to wit of the Money arrising from Such sale pay & Satisfy to the said Persons as herein named their heirs & the aforesaid Several Sums and Interest that may arrise thereon and the cost attending the Execution of this Trust hereby Created & the Surplus if any pay to the said Glenn his heirs & In testimony whereof I hereunto Set my hand & affix my Seal the day & date first herein Written, Tyree Glenn ((Seal)) Signed, Sealed & delivered In presence of The Execution of the withing Deed James Gooch of Trust was duly proved in Jesse B.
