Abram Hoady to Robert Reding

   To
Reding   This Indenture made this 10th of April A D 1843 Be
tween Abram Haudley of the State of Indiana of the one part
& Robert Reding of the County of Orange & State of North Carolina
of the other part Witnesseth, that the Said Abram Hoadley for
& in Consideration of the sum of four hundred Dollars
to him in hand paid by Robert Reding before the Signing and
delivery of these presents the recpt whereof is hereby acknowledged
he the Said Abram Hoadley hath granted bargained & Sold
& delivered & Do by these presents bargain grant & Sell & deliver
unto the Said Robert Reding his heirs & assigns forever all that
tract or parcel of Land lying & being in the County of Orange & State
aforesaid on the waters of C[?] Creek, Bounded as follows
Viz, Begining at a Post oak A Murdocks Corner, running
North Eleven Chains & fifty links, then West five chains
then North Sixty Nine chains & twenty five links to a Jack
Oak, then East twenty five chains to a P Oak Said Redings
Corner, then North Nine Chains & Sixty Links to a P Oak
Wm Grahams Corner, then East twenty five chains to a
Black Oak to Lattas Corner, then South Ninety two chains
& ten links to Pointers Sarah Halls Corner, then West
forty five chains & Eighty links to the first Station
adjoining the Lands of Sarah Hall, C C[amel] Sarah Latta & others
Containing According to the last Survey four hundred & thirty acres
be the same more or less To have & to hold the aforesaid Land
& premises with the appurtenances unto the Said Robert Reding
his heirs & assigns forever Binding ourselves & our heirs Exrs
& admrs & assigns forever to warrant & defend the Said Land against
the claims of all persons In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set
my hand & seal this 10th day of April AD 1843
