Morgans Cr; border his own land and Stephen Lloyd; warrant issued Feb 5,
1792

111 (no date) Francis Howell enters 150 ac in Orange Co on the head of
Whitties Cr of Stony Cr; border: Henry McCluer on S & E and by Zacheus Tate
on N: warrant issued Oct 23. 1779

701 Oct 6, 1778 Richard Clements enters 600 ac in Orange Co on waters of
Ellebys Cr of Nuce River; border: on E. by the entry made by Robt
Abercromble & Richard Clements, on S by the land of Wm Bailey & Lewis
Howell, on N by Wm Crisen Hall, & W.; includes his improvement: warrant
issued Feb 4, 1779

181 Mar 20, 1778 James Cokely enters 150 ac in Orange Co on N side of Haw
R. border: the claims of Benj Stone, Alexr Pattin, Lathbury, & Haw River;
includes the improvement he purchased from John Puge [written over Jas
Rolls] "say John Poge" (sic); warrant issued Jun 20. 1778

242  Apr 1, 1778 Wm Galbreath enters 50 acres in Orange Co. on N side of
Back Cr; border Benj Stone, John Hodge, & Tho Strain; includes his mill
seat on said creek and one acre on the other side of the creek he purchased
from Thomas Fanner [sic]; warrant issued Jul 9, 1778

266 May 13, 1778 John Hopkins enters 50 acres in Orange Co. in the fork
between Haw R. and Back Cr. border; on said river and creek; includes his
improvement where he lives; "N.B." Jas Priss [sic] has sold this entry to
John Hopkins warrant issued Jan 8 , 1779; Benj Stone sets up a claim to
part of this entry; verdict of the jury is in favor of Stone; but warrant
is to issue to Ross and Nunn according to the verdict

251 Apr 2, 1778 Alexr Pattin enters 200 ac in Orange Co. on Back Creek of
Haw River border the claim of Jas Cokely, Benjamin Stone, & others";
includes the improvement; warrant issued Jul 10, 1778

762 Nov 18, 1778 Benj Stone enters 150 ac in Orange Co. in the fork between
Haw R. and Back Cr; border; on said river & creek and joins John Hopkins
Jas Cokely & Alexr Pattin his improvement"; warrant issued Feb 17, 1779
