George Laws Senr of the one Part & George Laws Junr son of the aforementioned George Laws senr for Div? good causes & considerations him thereunto moving but more especialy for & in consideration of the Natural love & affection that he hath & doth bear toward his son George Laws Junr hath given & by these Presents doth freely give grant make over convey & confirm unto sd son George Laws Junr one certain Tract or Parcel of Land & Plantation situate Part in Granville County but the Largest Part in the County of Orange aforesd it being the Land & Plantation where on the sd George Laws Junr now liveth containing by Estimation one Hundred & seventy Acres be the same more or less & is bounded as follows to wit Beginning at James Veazeys Corner Red Oak on the Bank of Flat River on the East side thereof running thence Et 200 Poles to a Large Poplar on the Bank of the nap of Reeds Creek thence No 45( Wt 236 Poles to three Red Oak Saplins in the sd George Laws Senrs line then So 45( Wt 196 Poles to a Hickory on the Bank of Flat River running thence down the River following the several courses thereof to the first station To Have & To Hold the above bounded one Hundred & seventy Acres of Land more or less with all & singular the Improvements & appurtenances thereunto belonging with the Reversions & Remainders to the only proper use & Behoof of him the sd George Laws Junr & his heirs forever free & Clear of & from the Right Title Property Claim & Demand of him the sd George Laws Senr & his heir forever In Witness whereof the sd George Laws Senr hath hereunto set his hand & seal the Day & year first above written Sealed & Delivered in Presence of ) George Laws (seal) James Veazey Elizah Veazey ) North Carolina ?
