Ezekiel Laws to George W Laws 
May 28, 1850
Orange County Deed Book 34, Page 69 & 70

State of Tennessee  ) Know all men by these presents that I Ezekiel
Haywood County      ) Laws have this day sold and do hereby convey to
George W Laws his heirs and assigns forever for One hundred and thirty
five dollars to me paid all my interest in & to the estate of my
Grandfather Laws which is one fourth part that my Father would be
entitled to were he living I warrant the title to said estate to the
said George W Laws his heirs and assigns against the lawful claim of
all persons and I also warrant it to be unincumbered this 28th day of
May 1850

Haywood County      )  Magistrate of the County Court of said Haywood
County which Court is a court of record do certify that L Joyner is

was duly elected and qualified and that all his official acts as clerk
are entitled to faith and credit Given under my hand and seal this 31st
day of March 1851

sworn depose and say that they are acquainted with Ezekiel Laws the
bargainer and that he acknowledged the same in their presence to be his
act and deed upon the day it bears date
