All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jacqueline Wilkerson jgwilkerson@embarqmail.com September 5, 2009, 12:59 pm Written: August 13, 1798 Orange County North Carolina Deed Book 8, Page 126, 127 State to John Redden To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting Know ye that we for and in consideration of the Sum of the Sum of Fifty shillings for every hundred acres hereby Granted paid into our Treasury by John Redden have given and granted and by these presents do give and grant unto the said John Redden a tract of Land containing fifteen and three quarter acres lying and being in the County of Orange lying on the waters of Eno adjoining the Land of Abraham Whitaker and Jacob Allen Begining at a Beech in Allens line thence west his line five chains to a white oak Whitakers corner then his line south four degrees East sixty seven and and one fourth chains to a poplar in a branch then north with the line of Mulhollans tract sixty seven chains to the first Station Entered the 8 April 1797 as by the plat hereunto annexed doth appear together with all woods waters mines minerals hereditaments and appurtenances to the said land belonging or appertaining To hold to the said John Redden his heirs and assigns forever.
