John & Robert Redding to Lawrence N Kinyan

Reding )  This Indenture made this 28th of September in the year
  To   )    of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred & forty nine Between
Kinion )  Robert Redding & John Redding of the County of Orange and
State of North Carolina of the one part and Lawrence N Kinyan
of the County & State aforesaid of the second part Witnesseth
that the said Robert Redding & John Redding for and
in consideration of the sumof Eight hundred Dollars
to him in hand paid by the said Lawrence N. Kinyan the
Receipt whereof the said Robert Redding & John Redding
doth hereby acknowledge hath granted bargained & sold
aliened enfeoffed Released and confirmed & by these presents
doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Lawrence N
Kinyan his heirs and assigns forever two hundred acres of
land Situate lying and being in the County and State
aforesaid on the Waters of Little River Bounded as
follows Beginning at a black Oak Bedford Hurdles corner thence
west with Hurdles line fourteen chains & forty four links
Catys Rays corner a Stake thence South Sixty Nine chains
and thirty links to a Stake thence East fourteen chains and
forty four links to a stake thence North With William
Carrington line to a stake thence North East twenty seven
and one fourth chains to a stake William Carrington and
Lucy Barlows Corner thence North With Mrs. Barlows line
to a Stake Hamilton Montgomery Corner thence West with
said Montgomerys line to a Stake on Bedford Hurdles line
thence South to the Begining Containing two hundred
acres be the same more or less to have and to hold the
above described land with all the appurtenances to him
the said Lawrence N Kinyan his heirs and assigns forever and
the said Robert Redding & John Redding hereby binds themselves
their heirs Executors & administrators to Warrant and defend
the above described land with all the appurtenances to him
the said Lawrence N Kinyon his heirs and assigns forever
against the lawful claim or claims of every person whatsoever
In Testimony whereof the said Robert Redding & John
Redding hath hereunto set their hand and seal the day and
year above written signed selead and delivered in
presence of

The above Deed was duly acknowledged in open
Court by John Redding and Robert Redding and ordered
