All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/nc/ncfiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Jacqueline Wilkerson jgwilkerson@embarqmail.com September 5, 2009, 6:21 pm Written: December 13, 1850 Recorded: May 1864 Orange County North Carolina Deed Book 37, Page 225, 226 John Redding to John C Kinion Redding ) This Indenture made this thirteenth day of To ) december one thousand eighteen hundred and Kinion ) fifty Between John Redding of the first part and John C Kinion of the other part both of the the State of North Carolina and County of Orange Witness that said John Reding for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said John C Kinion before the signing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged he the said John Reding hath bargained and sold and delivered and do by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said John C Kinion his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County and State above written on the waters of little River adjoining the lands of Thomas Wilson Lawrence Kinion and others Bounded as follows Beginning at a post Oak then running North twenty one chains and 25 links to a black Oak thence west one chan and 25 links to a black Oak thence west twenty chains and 12 and half links to a stake on Catherine Rays line thence South twenty one chains & twenty five links to a post Oak thence east with Uriah M Wilkersons line twenty chains & twelve & half links to the Beginning Containing forty two acres be the same more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid land & premises with their appurtenances thereon to the said John C Kinion heirs and assigns forever free from the claims of all persons.
