Robert Reding to John Reding

Reding    This Indenture made this 16th of November
  to           Eighteen hundred & forty Seven Between Robert
Reding    Reding of Orange County & State of North Carolina of
                the first part and John Reding of the Second part
Witnesseth, that the said Robert Reding for & in Con
sideration of the sum of four hundred Dollars
to him in hand paid by the said John Reding
the recpt whereof is hereby acknowledged the
said Robert Reding hath bargained & Sold unto
the said John Reding his heirs Admrs, Executors
& assigns One half of that tract or parcel of Land
lying & being in the County of Orange & State of North
Carolina on the waters of Little river all of it
containing by Estimation Two hundred & forty two
acres be the same more or less the said tract of land
is bounded on the North by Hamilton Montgomery
East & South East by Lucy Barlow & William Guess
South by Elenor Ray, West by Catherine Ray & Bedford
Hurdle The said John Reding to have one half of the
above two hundred & forty two acres of Land & half the
profits [?] rent so long as he may live and
the to belong to his heir or assign I Robert
Reding hath bargained & sold unto the Said John
Reding his heirs & assigns one half of the above
named Two hundred & forty two acres of Land
on the waters of Little river in the State & County
aforesaid In testimony whereof I have set
my hand & seal this day & year above written
