Tinnin of County of Orange and State of North Carolina of the other, witnesseth that the said Robert Reding for and in consideration of the sum of two hun- dred dollars to him in hand paid by the said David T. Tinnin before the signing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. He the said Robert Reding hath granted bargained and sold and delivered and do by these presents bargain grant and sell and deliver unto the said David T. Tinnin his heirs and assigns forever all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Orange and State aforesaid on the waters of combs creek, bounded as follows viz; Beginning at a post oak A. Murdock’s corner running north eleven chains and fifty links to a post oak thence west five chains to a black jack thence north fifteen chains and seventy five links to pointers R. Reding corner thence east with sd. Reding’s line twenty four chains and thirty links to a hickory, thence north with said Reding’s line twenty nine chains & fifty links to a hickory thence east eight chains and twenty-five links to a post oak thence south two chains to a stake thence east three chains to a stake thence north two chains to a post oak thence east fifteen chains and forty links to a black jack sprout then south fifty eight chains and sixty five links to a black oak stump and pointers Sarah Hall’s corner, thence west forty five chains and eight links to the first station, adjoining the lands of John Riley, Sarah Hall and others containing according to the last survey two hundred and fourteen acres and four tenths, be the same more or less. To have and to hold the aforesaid land and premises with these appurtenances unto the said David T. Tinnin his heirs and assigns forever. Binding myself and heirs executors, administrators and assigns forever to warrant and de- fend the said land against the claims of all persons.
