10 June 1786, John Reeves of Orange to Joseph Townsand of same, fifty pounds, 
on Rocky Br. Of Eno, on N side of Eno R., begin at a hicory on river, N 44 ½ 
ch. To a red oak, W 22 ½ ch. To a black jack, S 44 ½ ch. To a post oak on 
river, down river to first station; signed John Reeves
witness: Benj. Newman: proved August Term 1789 by Newman.
