James Roberts to Jacob Wilfong

This Indenture made this 10 September Anno Domini 1799 Between James Roberts 
of the Town of Hillsborough and County of Orange of the one part and Jacob 
Wilfong of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that 
the said James Roberts for and in consideration of the Sum of thirty pounds
currency of North Carolina To him in hand paid by the said Jacob Wilfong
before the ensealing and delivery of these presents do grant bargain and sell 
too the said Jacob Wilfong one lott or parcel of land lying & being in the 
Town of Hillsborough, situate on the South side of King Street and adjoining 
the East side of Isbel Wilson and west of John McCauleys Containing half an 
acre and is Number in the Town Plann 129 To have and to hold the said lott or
parcel of land to the said Jacob Wilfong his heirs and assigns forever together
with all ways waters courses houses orchards Gardens all and singular the 
appurtenances also the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders unto
profits and issues of the same whatsoever to the only proper use and behoof 
of him the said Jacob Wilfong his heirs and assigns forever It Witness whereof 
I set my hand and Seal
