Hospitalized at Charlottesville, Virginia, December 1, 1863, with a gunshot wound. Place and date wounded not reported. Returned to duty on December 12, 1863. Reported on detached service at Richmond, Virginia, from December 29, 1863, through February, 1865. Captured in hospital at Richmond on April 3, 1865, and was paroled on April 20, 1865.
