N C Archives - Orange County Court Minutes, 1847-1851

Thursday 29th August 1850
It is duly proved in open Court by the oath of Bryant Strowd that Nancy Bishop 
was a pensioner of the United States at the rate of twenty dollars per annum was 
a resident of Orange County in the State of North Carolina and died in the 
county of Orange and state aforesaid on the 13th day of January 1849 and that 
she left the following children: Elizabeth Bishop and Judy Bishop and that they 
are of lawful age.
