NC Archives - Orange County Court Minutes, 1831-1835

May 4, 1834
Brittain Bowers a soldier of the Revolution appears in Court and files his 
declaration in order to obtain the benefit of the Act of Congress passed 15th 
May 1828 which beaing read with the affidavits appeared thereto. The Court is 
satisfied of the truth of the statements of therein contained and order the same 
to be certified to the War department.
