                    INFORMATION WANTED
   I have not heard from my son, LORENZO L. BENNETT, who belongs to CAPT. 
JOSEPH C. WEBB'S Company, 27th Regiment, North Carolina Troops, since the 
middle of October last -- he was then at or near Winchester, Va. and was sick. 
I will be thankful to any officer or soldier of CAPT. WEBB'S Company or of the 
27th Regiment, or to any one else, who will inform me of the condition or fate 
of my son. My post office is University Station, North Carolina Railroad, 
Orange County.
