They did not form a quorum till next day, when a communication was made to them by the Governor, which is under consideration -- MESSRS. JAMES MEBANE and JORAN HILL, two of the Council, had resigned their offices, the former being elected a Senator for Orange County, and the latter Clerk of the Superior Court of Franklin County. -- Raleigh Register.
