           of  Bingham Twp  & Clover Garden Section of Orange Co NC
                     Born ca 1855  and  Died 09 Jan 1940

Chapel Hill, Jan 9. - Andrew David Andrews, 85, prominent farmer and retired
merchant of the Clover Garden section of Orange county, died at his home in
Bingham township at 11 o'clock this morning.  He had been ill only a few days.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. A.D. Andrews, seven daughers, Mrs. Nettie Cook
and Mrs. Molly Staffore of Alamance county, Mrs. D. Marvin Atwater, Mrs. C.V.
Atwater and Mrs. Robert Sturdivant, all of Chatham county, Mrs. Jack Cheek of
Chapel Hill and Mrs. Elsie Veasey of New York; six sons, Miles Andrews of
Carrboro, D. Benton Andrews of Pittsboro, Tom, A.D., Dwight, and Clayton
Andrews of Bingham township; 33 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Orange chapel, eight miles west of
Chapel Hill at 2'o'clock Thursday afternoon, with the pastor, Rev. Mr.
Henderson, officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

28 Sept 1816 in Orange Co NC.  Andrew David Andrews married ca 1896 in Orange 
Co NC to Ida Carter born ca 1872 in Orange Co NC.

There is a marriage listed under the name John ANDRES to a Hannah WILLIAMS in 
Orange Co NC with date of marriage record as 29 Aug 1849.
