The News of Orange County, January 11, 1973
Charles Stroud Blalock, of Timberlake, died January 9 in Durham.
He died on a construction site, after an apparent heart attack.
He was 44.
Native of Orange County and member of Five Forks Baptist Church.
Funeral conducted January 11 at Red Mountain Baptist Church.
Service conducted by Rev. Tommy Willis, Rev. Harry Brown and Rev. Clarence 
Randolph.
Burial in Blalock-Lawson Cemetery.
Survivors:
Widow: Mrs. Edith Chambers Blalock
One daughter: Miss Linda Blalock of the home
One son: Barry Blalock of the home
One stepson: Kenneth Wolfe of Vandenberg, California
Three sisters: Mrs. Valeria Marshall, Mrs. Cola Lee Blalock, both of 
Timberlake and Mrs. Lucille Pulliam of Longhurst
Three brothers: John Thomas Blalock of Durham, David Russell Blalock and J.W. 
Blalock of Timberlake
