Fred Brown of Hillsborough, died April 2 at Watts Hospital. He was 67.
Survivors include -
Widow: Mrs. Vera H. Brown
Four sons: Fred H. Brown and Curtis P. Brown of Hillsborough, Edward S. Brown 
of Greensboro and Thomas Carroll Brown of Durham
Two daughters: Mrs. Charles J. Ward of Jackson, [name missing] of New Orleans, 
La.
11 grandchildren
Funeral held last Thursday at Walker's Funeral Chapel by Rev. James Wade.
Burial in Hillsborough Town Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Fred Cates, R.J. Smith, Jr., Edgar Hines, H. Ted Smith, Wayland 
Sharpe and Paul R. Williams
