Mrs. Allie Cole died at her home three miles south of Chapel Hill.
She was the wife of the late W. Compton Cole and was 78.
She died at 11:00 AM. She had been in declining health for a year.
Survivors:
Two Daughters: Mrs. Alma Tankersly Hinton and Mrs. Alfred Brandon, both of 
Chapel Hill
One Son: George T. of the home and four grandchildren
Funeral services were held at Lystea Baptist Church seven miles of Chapel 
Hill, Friday afternoon.
Rev. D. Kelly Barnett, her pastor, of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church 
officiated, assisted by Rev. Charles F. Hudson of Durham.
