W. Frank Compton of Cedar Grove, died Saturday night in the Veterans Hospital 
in Durham.
He was 64.
Funeral held Monday afternoon at Cedar Grove Methodist Church by Rev. O. V. 
Elkins.
Burial in the church cemetery.
A son of the late Anderson and Eula Chandler Compton of Orange County.
Survivors:
Wife: Mrs. Lula C. Compton
One son: Oscar Compton of Nashville, Tenn.
Four daughters: Mrs. W.T. Baker of Raleigh, Mrs. Paul L. McDaniel of 
Greensboro, Mrs. W.F. Nowell of Williamsburg, Va and Mrs. C.E. Berry Jr. of 
Hillsboro
Two sisters: Mrs. R.W. Ward of Cedar Grove and Mrs. Nannie L. Smith of 
Gibsonville
Two brothers: Wayne Compton of Durham and Ralph R. Compton of Cedar Grove
Eight grandchildren
