Mrs. Bessie Proctor Couch of Hillsborough, died August 30 at Watts Hospital. 
She was 76.
Late Parents: Joseph and Lucie Warren Proctor
Born and reared in Durham County
Member of Bethany Methodist Church
Survivors include -
Widower: Ulon Richard Couch
Three daughters: Mrs. Lucille Addison and Mrs. Thelma Perry of Durham and Mrs. 
Dorothy Roberts of Hillsborough
Two sisters: Mrs. Annie Lee and Mrs. Mable Couch of Durham
One brother: W.T. Proctor of Durham
One grandson and two great-grandchildren
Funeral held September 2 at Clements Chapel by Rev. Robert Winecoff, pastor of 
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
Burial in New Sharon Methodist Church cemetery
