William Franklin Davis of Hillsborough, died Wednesday, November 22
Died in a local rest home after a long illness
He was 84.
A retired employee of Cone Mills Eno Plant
Charter member of West Hillsborough Baptist Church
Funeral held Thursday, November 23 at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. 
R.E. Scarlett
Burial in Hillsborough Town Cemetery
Survivors:
Widow: Mrs. Mary Powell Davis
Five daughters: Mrs. Florence Riddle and Mrs. Lillian Carroll of Hillsborough, 
Miss Lora Davis of the home, Mrs. Lillie Mae Johnson of Ridgeway, Va and Mrs. 
Allie Knox of Union, SC
Five stepdaughters: Mrs. Marvin Walker and Mrs. Maude Riddle of Hillsborough, 
Mrs. Mary Ellen Briggs of Mebane, Mrs. Leathie Chrisman of Danville and Mrs. 
Edna Powell of Roxboro
Three stepsons: Woodson Vaughn of Burlington, Lessie Vaughan and Wesley Vaughn 
of Roxboro
20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren
