The News of Orange County, June 27, 1963, Section II, Page 11
H. L. Duncan of Hillsboro, died at Duke Hospital Friday morning. He was 80.
A native of South Carolina and retired mechanic.
Survivors:
Widow: Mrs. Lillie Hamm Duncan
Five daughters: Mrs. Theodore Freeman, Mrs. Alex Taylor and Mrs. Arnold 
Wheeley, all of Durham, Mrs. Ed Dickey and Mrs. Jim Harward of Hillsboro
Two sons: Joe and Howard Duncan of Hillsboro
38 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren
Funeral services held at West Hillsboro Baptist Church by Rev. G.B. Vaughn at 
2 p.m. Sunday
Burial in Hillsboro Cemetery
