Arthur W. Durham, 67, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lula Pickett.
He was 67 and a farmer of the county.
He had been in poor health for several months, criticaly for a few days.
Services were held at Carrboro Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. V.E. Queen, 
assisted by Rev. W. H. Poole.
He was buried in Orange Methodist cemetery.

J. T. Fowler; E. T. Hearne; K. H. Marks; Troy Hackney; Jesse Hackney and Algie 
Johnson
Survivors:
One daughter: Mrs. C.R. Gunter of Raleigh
One son: Elwood Durham, overseas with the armed forces
One sister: Mrs. Lula Pickett of Carrboro
Four brothers: Zan Durham of Carrboro; Jim and W.S. of Orange County and 
Luther Durham of Mebane
